Clinical Director of Behavioral Health

Life is full of various stressors and challenges that may impact our ability to be present and happy in our day-to-day life.  My goal as a therapist is to assist individuals on their journey to healing by providing a supportive therapeutic relationship and a path to make lasting changes to improve their quality of life.  Change can be difficult, and I work alongside my clients in implementing positive changes in their life.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Iowa. I am endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and have experience working with complex trauma, attachment, addiction, infant/early childhood mental health, and domestic violence.  I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).  I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach with the individuals and families that I have the privilege to work with.

I am passionate about assisting my clients in their journey and being a supportive outlet to process past experiences, current stressors, and create lasting change.  I truly believe that every person is worthy of the time it takes to heal.

As clinical director, I am available to provide training to organizations or groups and have developed training in the areas of mental health, dysregulation, infant and early childhood mental health, trauma, substance use and addiction, and attachment. I can provide training specific to your group’s needs.
